Lucite lovelies
Like the sprinkles on the ice cream or the icing on the cake it's the details that matter. The lovelies were designed to fill those new bookshelves, style that coffee table, dress the bar and And provide just the right finishing touch that will make your house feel like home.
Brass Mini
Most often simple is best. The brass minis are done on crisp white arches paper with a beautiful deckled edge that is highlighted by a brass floater frame. The paintings are basic forms and patterns done in ink or petite paintings with carefully chosen pops of color. The brass minis work just as well in sets or trios than they do as stand alone statement pieces
palette kniFe PortRaiture
Much different than traditional paintbrushes, my palette knives allow me to paint in an abstract, layered, textural way. This approach to painting is all about pressing, layering, spreading and carving, creating an overall effect that is vibrant, happy and most of all free.
Large work
I’ve always loved to work big. So much thought goes into working on a large scale. Getting the composition and the negative space just right is crucial to creating a visually stimulating painting. Painting big requires movement and physicality which undoubtedly shows through in the finished work... to me, painting big is painting free!
commissions
To walk into a room and see all the possible ways it can be transformed with art is beyond exciting. I really enjoy meeting w clients and designers and deciding on colors, scale, style, dimension and framing options. Nothing is more rewarding than creating a painting that fits just right in the intended space, is perfectly suited to the client and breathes life into a room. Most often my commissioned work takes 4-8 weeks from deposit to completion.
Lucite Lovely Trios
As a special order, a custom designed a trio is available. This trio consists of a 12x12, a 10x10 and a 8x8 frame. Clients can choose from existing designs and color palettes or may consult with me to create a trio designed specifically for their space.
